Hailing from the mining town of Sudbury, aptly taking their name from the local iconic, towering smokestack, Superstack’s early beginnings were spent cutting their teeth in the rough hotels of Northern Ontario, honing their skills night after night and recreating the hard driving sound of early 1970’s arena Rock n Roll.

Founding members Scott Donnelly, Greg Mihajic, dug in their heels developing their own soulful, boot stompin’, hard rock sound and soon caught the attention of agents who booked them throughout Canada and U.S.A. With extensive touring experience, promoting their single “Kick It on Down” and sharing the stage with such bands as The Trews, The Sheepdogs and Big Sugar(Grady), Superstack established themselves as one of Canada’s pioneers of the great rock resurgence of the 2000’s

Lead vocalist and primary songwriter, Scott Donnelly howls with a dynamically explosive 60’s R & B, Rock n Roll style reminiscent of Paul Rogers (Free & Bad Company) and Steve Marriott (Small Faces & Humble Pie), His driving guitar rhythm and tones borrow tastefully from Joe Walsh (The James Gang) and Pete Townsend (The Who), rounding up with Paul Kossoff (Free) and Peter Frampton-esque melodic leads.

On Bass and vocals, Greg Mihajic’s hypnotic, rolling bass lines evoke undeniable flavors of Denis Dunaway(Alice Cooper) meets John Paul Jones(Led Zeppelin), while soulfully bellowing with a southern fried voice that makes one think Ronnie Van Zandt (Lynyrd Skynyrd) has entered the building.

Drummer Dusty Steel Campbell, thunders like a steam locomotive with athletic precision, echoing the prowess of such powerhouses as Alex Van Halen (Van Halen), Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge & Cactus) and John Bonham (Led Zeppelin).

All together the band is a Rock N Roll experience that is simply unforgettable and unequalled leaving listeners wondering if their local venue just time travelled back to 1970 at the legendary Fillmore East.
