“With ‘Real Blues‘, Jim Dan Dee have picked up the torch of groups like Foghat, Pat Travers, Rory Gallagher, George Thorogood, and Canned Heat to name a few, who reimagined the works of the original blues pioneers into a heavier, riff-oriented sound and feel. During the last two years, the band found themselves looking within at times, while also looking outward at the world around them. They spent their time during the “damndemic”, as they put it, to deliver one hell of a rock solid, deliciously rich collection of true rocking blues awesomeness. They have made their mark.”
