The Groove Robbers are a collective of musicians who love playing great Rock ‘n Roll, Blues and Americana from the last fifty years.
Featuring Christina Leroux
Christina has roots deeply engrained in traditional bluegrass and country. Coming from a large, musical family she was raised to appreciate and develop a love for performing that stemmed from her mother, grandmother, aunts, and uncles.
Early influences include Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, Loretta Lynn, Janis Joplin, and Joni Mitchell. More recently she is in- spired by the vocals of Susan Tedeschi, Brandi Carlile and Beth Hart.
Christina’s performance accomplishments include her touring throughout Ontario for the past dozen years and most notably to Nashville; where she performed on the upper stage of the world-famous Tootsies and at Crossroads on Broadway; topping off with a recording at Beaird Studios.
Christina has competed in and won in singing competitions and has played a variety of country, rock, and blues events.
